Paphos
Paphos was the capital of Cyprus back in Roman times,
which explains it’s traditional feel and historic sites. The picturesque harbour
in the newer part of town offers excellent tavernas and bars whilst the old and
traditional part of town has retained much of its charm and beauty.
Coral Bay
Coral Bay is about 15 minutes drive from Paphos and is
famous for having some of the best beaches on the island. A fairly modern resort
area has been built were the tourist can find everything they need with shops,
supermarkets, restaurants and bars in generous supply. The whole area is as
popular with the locals as it is with tourists, which leaves Coral Bay with a
buzzing atmosphere and a taste of local life.
Latchi-Polis
Latchi is ideal for those looking for the more peaceful
holiday. The tiny fishing harbour is flanked on both sides by a series of
beautiful bays, which are home to a diversity of wildlife. Latchi itself has
some of the best places on the island to sample the range of fresh fish and
Cypriot cooking.
