The Sun Beach Resort Complex is the ideal hotel for those seeking a relaxing holiday, and is suitable for couples and small families alike. Situated on the edge of Ialyssos, its beautiful gardens lead down to the shingle beach. Conveniently located on the north-west side of the island, it is about 1 km from Ialyssos centre, 9 km from Rhodes town with its magnificent medieval city, and 9 km from the islands International airport. Because of the proximity to the airport some aircraft noise may be heard.
Accommodation
The Sun Beach Resort Complex consists of 105 Double Superior rooms, 84 Studios newly renovated and 110 Apartments (with separate bedroom and living room) overlooking the sea as well as the beautiful gardens. Please note: 3rd or 4th bed may be a sofa / camp bed. All the rooms on the complex are comfortably furnished with balcony, private bath/shower combination, safe deposit box, hairdryer, direct dial telephone, Internet access from all the rooms, satellite TV, radios and air-conditioning in operation from 01/06-30/09. Studios and apartments are equipped with kitchenettes with cooking rings, microwaves, kettles and toasters.
Restaurants & Bars
American Buffet breakfast - dinner: starters, salads & desserts from buffet, main course of three choices (vegetarian and children menu option available), waiter service. By the pools an a la cart restaurant serves lunch and dinner, while the snack bar restaurant serves light lunches, a variety of snacks and barbeque choices. Two main bars are available in the elegant lobby areas while two pool bars will be at your disposal offering refreshing drinks by the pools. For those who choose the beach, the beach bar offers fruits, fresh juices and choice of Greek traditional snacks.
Swimming Pools & Beach
Two swimming pools are placed in two different areas of the complex with separate children’s pool, both with fresh water, while umbrellas & sun beds are available free of charge. On the pebbly beach of the hotel sun beds and umbrellas are available at a charge.

Full animation programme from a professional animation & entertainment team day and night, mini club operated by the hotel (May to October), live music, Greek Folklore night (payable locally), beach party (payable locally) BBQ (payable locally), satellite TV in the lobby, video games room, children’s playground.
