The Blue Bay is situated 10km from the city of Rhodes, 4 km away from the airport and 2km from Ialyssos Town, on the west coast of the island, with its cooling breezes and shingle beach making it ideal for sunbathing and swimming. Built along a natural private beach, connected with a regular local bus service and 500 metres from the main road, it is ideal for families.
Due to the location of this property, aircraft noise will be heard.
Accommodation
The standard rooms are mainly twin rooms that can accommodate and third extra bed if necessary and some rooms have bunk beds available for children. The rooms have air conditioning (July-August), which is centrally controlled, balconies with patio furniture, private bathrooms, telephone, music and safe deposit boxes (payable locally). Also available are smaller private rooms set in the gardens, known as the ‘bungalows’ with terrace.
Childrens Facilities
The hotel offers 5 children’s pools, a playground and hotel run mini club. New Aqua Kids Club (payable locally) with water slides, aqua splash area, a pirate boat, opening date 10th July 2005. The hotel grounds offer a safe environment for children, however parental supervision must be ensured.
All Inclusive Food & Drinks
All Inclusive services start at 10:00 and runs throughout the day till midnight. The main meals Breakfast (07:00-09:30), Lunch (12:30-14:00) and Dinner (18:00-21:00) are served buffet style accompanied by soft drinks, wine, beer or water at the Main Restaurant. Different Snacks are available between main meals at the Snack Bar with locally produced drinks and soft drinks. The ice cream is available from 10:00-18:00. Locally produced soft and alcoholic drinks including local wine, beer, ouzo, vodka, rum and gin are available at the Pool Bar from (10:00-18:00) and at the Snack Bar from (10:00-24:00).
All Inclusive Sport & Entertainment
Sports free of charge: Tennis, football, beach volley, basketball, aerobics, darts, water polo and French bowls. There are two hours games arranged for the small hotel guests every morning and afternoon. The kids club for youngsters (5-12 years old) is also free of charge. Enjoy shows and entertainments every evening for two hours organized by animation team that operates 6 days and nights a week.

International drinks are not included in the AI programme at all bars. Sunbeds by the pool and at the beach are approximately €2.50 per day. Various drinks served from the outside bars and main bar (payable). Greek Night is also available (weather permitting) and payable locally. Water sports.
Construction Works near the Hotel - Summer 2005
Please note that there are some constuction works taking place across the road. A new swimming pool is to be built. Works are visible and the level of noise is high; some drilling & mechanical diggers can be heard. Works are taking place Mon-Sat between 09:00 & 16:30.
